NAIROBI
Nairobi is the largest city in East Africa. It began as a shanty town depot of the East African Railroad in 1899. Home of Karen Blixen – the author of “Out of Africa” it has become one of the major cities and the hub of modern Africa. It hosts the headquarters of the United Nations and 120 embassy’s. Nairobi is a vibrant and growing city with more than 3 million people - a mosaic of many races and cultures. It boasts 13 golf courses and a wide variety of excellent restaurants, disco’s and bars. |
