LELESHWA CAMP

Leleshwa Camp is an intimate tented camp situated on the Siana Community Conservation Area on the North–Eastern edge of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya. Resting along a stream valley overlooking picturesque hills and rolling plains dotted with resident game, Leleshwa Camp seeks to give its guests an authentic African experience.

The camp offers simplistic elegance and style in a relaxed environment with six spacious tents privately situated and designed to blend in naturally with the surrounding nature. All tents open to a large verandah where guests can relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a hot shower and flushing toilet. The suite, with a spacious bedroom and lounge, is an ideal setting for honeymoon couples or families.

A dining and lounge area open to the outside, capturing the cooling breeze. Meals are served ‘al fresco’ under the shade of the trees and dinner is always a special occasion served under the African stars or in the dining area, dinner party style. At night, hurricane lamps bathe the camp in a soft, warm light whilst guest share the days’ experience around a blazing fire.

The camp is ideally situated to explore the rich diversity of the conservation area and the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which is within comfortable driving distance. Professional Safari Guides will tailor the daily activities to guest’s wishes and interests to include day & night game drives, guided bush walks, Maasai community activities or visits to a traditional village and local school. Or you can enjoy an enthralling dawn hot air balloon flight across the park’s untamed vistas!
