KIANGAZI HOUSE
LOCATION Naivasha, Rift Valley Region.
DESCRIPTION
Kiangazi House is located in the 3,000-acre Oserian Game Corridor. With delightful lush gardens littered with colour, rolling lawns and a view to compliment the beautiful setting, it’s ironic that “Kiangazi” is the Swahili word meaning “hot and dry season”. This delightful country house overlooks Oloidien Bay and part of Lake Naivasha.
With a library and huge fireplace, it is an ideal place to relax in, or for the more energetic a tennis court overlooking the corridor route which takes wildlife to water at the lakes edge. A salt lick and water hole is excellently located at the bottom of the garden for animals to congregate at.
Highly trained professional chefs deliver an exquisite array of cuisine. Fresh vegetables & dairy products are produced on the farm nearby and therefore obtained daily.
A swimming pool is creatively blended into the surrounding garden.

Accommodation consists of 5 rooms. Each room has its own distinctive character with en-suite bathroom. All of the beds are four-poster surrounded in netting. Three of the rooms (1 twin, 2 doubles) are inside the main house, one of these being the Ibis suite which has its own fireplace and mini-bar. 2 new garden rooms are situated outside the main house and have their own private verandas. CONSERVATION
Our commitment to conservation includes the careful management of both the 3,000 acre Wildlife Corridor, and the 18,000 acre Oserian Wildlife Sanctuary.
Oserian Game corridor is one of the last of its kind remaining in Kenya. The corridor allows all the wildlife from both Longonot & Hells Gate National Parks access to the lake & pastures beyond.
With >320 bird species the corridor & sanctuary are also an ornithological paradise. Amongst the bird species is the “Grey Crested Helmet Shrike”; one of 4 endemic bird species in this country & the “last” remaining sustainable population on earth.
Oserian Wildlife Sanctuary hosts over 45 different species of mammals including several non-indigenous species that were imported in order to contribute to the survival of their species. Included in these are endangered species such as White Rhino, Grevy Zebra, Cheetah & the infrequent sightings of African Wild Dogs. Biesa Oryx, Greater Kudu, Wildebeest & Topi as well as all the species that are indigenous to the area co-exist in order to bring together elements of Kenya’s renowned Maasai Mara & Samburu districts.
